Wednesday D&D: The Potions and the Merfolk and the Harbor

The city of Pinnemapolis needs your help! Someone or something's been snatching people right off the docks. Pets, too. And barrels of food and trade goods. The Guildlords have hired you (and promised some great rewards) to get to the bottom of this dilemma, which means the bottom of the harbor, where merfolk are rumored to dwell. The city's best potion masters have teamed up, too, to make special flasks that let you breathe when you get down there. But do the potion shops have other schemes in mind? What happened to make this city, suddenly, a destination for the lovelorn? And if the threat comes from under the waves, what's that winged creature bearing down from the sky?
This self-contained one-night adventure welcomes new players; it also links up to the events of previous (and future!) Wednesday night adventures. We will have plenty of combat along with investigations, urban intrigue, people to save, and secrets to uncover on land and sea. We will provide a few pre-generated characters for players unable to make their own. DnD 5e as well as 5.5e rules are acceptable: you get to choose which rule set covers your character. Feel free to get in touch if you've got questions! Returning or recurring players can expect to level up at the end of this adventure.
RULES FOR ATTENDING:
- Proof of COVID vaccination is required at EVERY EVENT. Either the presentation of the physical card or a clear picture will suffice. Pandemonium does not keep any records, written or otherwise, of vaccination status.
- Advance online registration is required.
- Anyone not registered in an ongoing event will not be allowed in the event space to maintain capacity limits.
- No food is allowed in our event space. Drinking is allowed.
