Tony Santorella was born and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts, home to the Salem Witch Trials and a myriad of related hauntings. He moved to Washington, DC in 2005, waiting tables before beginning his decade-long career in international development. His work has taken him around the globe, designing aid programs across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, including two years in London to complete his Master's degree. Inspired by the mysticism of his hometown, the ambition of the capital, and the sharp irreverence of restaurant life, he began writing his debut novel. He now lives in Washington, D.C.
